PRONATEC AG strives for fair trade with its suppliers all over the world. The following objectives are at the forefront of these long-term partnerships:

• PRONATEC guarantees that it will take all of the produced crops.
• PRONATEC pays an organic premium of 10 - 25%.
• PRONATEC finances and organises organic certification.
• PRONATEC pays in advance for the crops.
• PRONATEC does not tolerate any child or forced labour.
• Women and men receive the same wage for the same work.
• PRONATEC organises organic workshops and assists the farmers in all of their agricultural requirements.
• All employees receive fair wages and are entitled to health insurance.

With its own employees and frequent visits to its various sources, PRONATEC can have a direct influence on improving the personal circumstances of the smallholders. The fair prices do not only make a contribution to ensuring their long-term livelihood but also enable the raw materials to be produced under environmentally friendly conditions. The Max Havelaar and Transfair symbols of the Fair Trade Labelling Organization (FLO) stand for this fair trade.
